Recently a number of clients have contacted me about print and TV ads offering Medicare benefits like a food card and other benefits. Most of these ads are aimed to get you to call to see if you're eligible, however, are mainly for those who qualify for Medicare AND Medicaid. I've had several clients make the call and even get talked into changing their coverage and therefore the agent that is supposed to be their advocate! These ads are misleading.
